2012 Chevrolet Tavera spotted, launch expected by year end

According to the latest reports, General Motors is soon going to launch Chevrolet Tavera face-lift, which was spotted recently. The Chevrolet Tavera had been ousted from the BSIV cities for a while now as the 2.5 L turbo diesel engine capable of producing 80 bhp peak power was unable to meet the new emission standards. Apart from the cosmetic changes in the facelift model, a new diesel engine is said to power the SUV. A 2.0L Sonalika Rhino diesel engine that keeps the capacity to produce a 100 Bhp of peak power is expected to power the 2012 Chevrolet Tavera, which is supposed to meet the current emission standards. Chevrolet Tavera is most likely to be launched by the end of this year with a slight hike in the price. The outgoing Chevrolet Tavera price is in the range of Rs 6 lakh-Rs 8 lakh.
