2013 Skoda Superb Luxury Saloon Facelift to Witness a Global Launch Soon

The Czech automaker, Skoda is working on the facelifted version of its flagship luxury saloon, Superb which was caught in lens being tested at someplace in China. Skoda Superb Facelift is the latest version of the car with a lot of changes incorporated which are very new and cannot be replaced unless an all new car comes along. The exterior of the car has been rendered some new and fresh changes and has also received a few additional advancements.
The 2013 Skoda Superb is expected to have new headlamps and bumpers built in a triangular shape. The rear end will have new tail lamps along with new rear bumper and also a repositioned number plate which will be noticed more in the car. Skoda Superb saloon is the top selling model of company in this segment of many markets across the globe. The Skoda Superb along with its luxurious and spacious interiors with the diesel engine option is sure to be the best seller of Skoda India. The Skoda Superb is available with two petrol engine options: entry level variant and top end high performance variant.
The diesel engine variant is a 2 Liter TDI unit which churns out 140 BHP of power and provides a torque of 320 Nm. The petrol engine variant is a 1.8 Liter TSI unit which provides a power of 160 Bhp and torque of 250 Nm. Another version of petrol engine has 3.5 Liter V6 engine pumping out 260 Bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque. There are three transmission options in the car: a 6 speed manual gearbox, a 6 speed dual clutch DSG automatic and a 7 speed DSG gearbox. These transmissions are to be incorporated with the start-stop system to provide a better fuel economy. The facelift version of the Skoda Superb luxury saloon will be later on followed with a model which will be completely new and will be bigger in size.
