2014 BMW 2-Series Coupe gets M Performance kit

BMW, the German luxury carmaker has extended its M Performance section with several new offerings for the recently launched 2014 2-Series Coupe. The products available for all model variants include the BMW M Performance sports suspension including lowering of 20 millimetres as compared to the standard version, as well as specific dampers and shortened coil springs finished in red, and the especially light and high-capacity BMW M Performance brake system with brake calipers painted in a choice of red, yellow or orange. 19-inch forged BMW M Performance light alloy wheels are also available in two design versions.
This kit has upgrade the power output for the 220d Coupe, which is powered by a 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder diesel engine that can churn out 200bhp and 420Nm of torque, an increase of 16bhp and 40Nm, respectively. Moreover, the company also offers a limited-slip differential and a silencer system for M235i, which now develops a more powerful sound while reducing exhaust gas pressure.
The exterior of the model can be fitted with an aerodynamic kit with a front apron and several front & rear ducting components, rear diffuser and side sill attachments. The 2-Series Coupe can be further enhanced by adding a black look to Kidney grille, carbon exterior caps, side sill foils with M Performance branding. The interiors can be enhanced via Alcantara and carbon finishes with red central marking, steel pedals and others. The M Performance catalog will be made available from March next year.
