Maruti Suzuki Baleno: Just like the pre-facelift Baleno, the updated hatchback continues to top the sales chart in its segment. The high demand is quite evident by the long waiting periods, which goes up to eight weeks in Noida. Those residing in Kolkata, Lucknow and Indore can get their hands on the premium hatchback in six weeks. However, residents of Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai and Mumbai don’t have to wait for the car since it is readily available in their cities.
Hyundai Elite i20: The Elite i20 has the lowest waiting period here. The maximum waiting period on the Elite i20 goes upto 15 days in cities like Chennai and Mumbai, which is considerably lower than other premium hatchbacks. Moreover, out of the 15 cities in the list, the Elite i20 is readily available in 9 cities, including Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune and Chandigarh.
Volkswagen Polo: While it is readily available in cities like Pune, Gurugram, Indore, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Kolkata, the waiting period for the Polo hovers around 15 days in most other cities. The maximum waiting period on the Polo goes up to one month in cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai and Chennai.
