Maruti Swift: The Swift is one of the most sought after hatchbacks, with average monthly sales of more than 15,000. Due to high demand, the waiting period for the Swift extends to around 6 weeks in cities like Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur and Kolkata. If you are from Chandigarh, Noida, Bengaluru or Lucknow, your wait will be slightly lesser at 4 weeks. Buyers in other cities will just have to wait for around one to two weeks whereas Patna, Ahmedabad and Gurugram buyers may get their hands on their Swift right away.
Ford Figo and Freestyle: Interestingly, both the Freestyle and Figo have identical waiting periods. Prospective buyers in Delhi-NCR, Chandigarh and Kolkata will not have to wait more than a week, while other major cities like Bengaluru and Mumbai will see a wait of a couple of months. This will reduce to around a couple of weeks if you are from Hyderabad, Pune or Patna.
