Arjuna Awardee Deepa Malik to visit CarDekho at Auto Expo

The self reliant, powerful personality and a source of inspiration for many of us, the Arjuna Awardee winner, Ms. Deepa Malik has made her warm presence at CarDekho’s stall at the ongoing Auto Expo’14. We are fortunate enough to share the space with her, while her aura and a healthy conversation with her itself make people around feel motivated. Many of us know her as paraplegic woman, but there’s no way one can believe over immense courage bound in this ‘Iron lady’. With the accolades like ‘True Grit Award’ in 2009 for her brilliant performance at the Raid De Himalaya motor sport event, and at a desert rally storm, speaks for her will to show the world that there’s no task which is impossible. Despite the fact, that she being physically challenged, hasn’t stopped her being a National and International level swimmer, also participated in games like shotput and javelin throw. This truly showcases her grit and her attitude to face challenges head-on. 

Ms. Deepa Malik had got associated with CarDekho in the longest Pan India drive, which was intended to bring awareness about the immense strength lying in every woman around. The drive started on 22nd September’13 from Chennai and went on till Delhi, ended on 29th September’13, covering a long distance of 3000 plus kms. The epic journey was even registered as a world record in the Limca Book Record.
