Australia explores possible tie-ups in Indian Auto Industry

Australia is currently searching new opportunities and chances of building up some better tie-ups between the top-class companies and the flourishing and booming Indian Automotive industry. This is being done to develop new export chances and further assist to safeguard the enduring strength of the Australian Auto Industry.

As per Mr. Kim Carr, the Australian Minister for Innovation, Science and Research, Australia mulls over to build up some closer associations involving some of the finest Auto firms of Australia and the Indian car makers. Cars in India are totally world class and almost all the world car manufacturer are here doing a great business, be it German car makers like BMW, Audi, Mercedes or other like Volkswagen, Toyota, Hyundai etc. these firms sell car and has been pretty successful in making their own mark in the Indian car market.

Mr. Kim Carr also reportedly told media that with the help of Australian Government’s “New car plan for a Greener Future”, the Australian Auto industry has been able to carry on in the recession time and also has been able to become the world leader when it comes to new technology.

With the new techniques and technology, Australian car companies could tie up with other attractive car industries of the world, which also includes India. This information reportedly came in after the Australian Minister met with some Indian car manufactures, such as Tata Motors and Mahindra and Mahindra.

The Australian Minister's visit to India has also opened up channels of a possible tie up in aerospace sector. Some Indian auto firms are into aerospace technology research and development. Mr. Carr also told the media that Indian Auto market still needs to develop more and more of innovative vehicle designs and Australia is here with new technology that will allow the Indian car manufacturers to design more innovative new cars that will surely lure the consumers and thereby increase the sales figures. However, India is also a booming market for used cars. A company like Maruti India has True value car market which is very well-known for selling used cars.
