Auto cos participating at the upcoming Auto Expo

2012 Auto Expo is soon approaching and as many as 18 different car manufacturers and masses are eagerly awaiting the event. On an overall 60 vehicles out of which 55 passenger cars are expected to be launched at the event. Few car manufacturers have more than a couple of launches up the sleeve, while others will be there to feast their eyes upon the new concept cars and some fabulous new car launches.This time the luxury car segment is likely to dominate the stage with BMW bringing in the Mini brand for the first time in India.
The Mini Cooper, Cooper S and Countryman SUV are one of the most awaited launches of the year. Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Tata’s Jaguar Land Rover are said to be quite keen to make it to the Auto Show. It is Bugatti which is expected to steal the show with its super car Bugatti Veryon SuperSport. Maruti Suzuki India bets high with some interesting launches this time with the new Maruti MPV, the Ertiga and a whole new compact SUV and an MUV concept as well if not mistaken to be showcased at the grand event. The biggest bet is yet to come if Maruti does display the Kei cars as mentioned earlier.
To cap it all, Maruti seems to have a lot in store for the upcoming Auto Expo. Hyundai will also have a compact SUV showcased while Tata Motors is expected to come forward with the Tata Nano diesel with some exceptional mileage numbers to send the shivers down the closest rivals. The Toyota obviously has the 2012 Toyota Fortuner and Innova duo slated for the launch at the show. Renault has been enticing the consumers with the Renault Pulse ever since it was showcased soon after the Grand Prix Formula 1 race held in October, which is nothing but a rebadged version of Nissan Micra hatchback.
Volkswagen, contrary to its plans to unveil the Volkswagen Up! at the Expo, will pacify the consumers with the revamped version of Volkswagen Beetle instead. It’s subsidiary Skoda will be an active participant at the show. Ford will make its presence well known at the show with its compact Ford EcoSport SUV. Peugeot Citroen , Premier Motors, International Tractors and Honda Motors will add to the grandeur. Finally country’s leading utility manufacturer, Mahindra and Mahindra again has some power packed cars in its kitty with SsnagYong’s two new SUVs Korando and Rexton apart from the most hotly anticipated Mahindra Xylo Mini MPV.
