The BMW iX1 was first introduced in India in 2023 and now, its long-wheelbase (LWB) version has landed on our shores at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Since the iX1 LWB this time is locally produced, it is priced at Rs 49 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). BMW has also started the deliveries for the iX1 LWB in India.
Looks Like Regular iX1, Gets EV-specific Changes
The iX1 LWB boasts the same overall design as the regular wheelbase version of the BMW iX1 and only gets minor design tweaks. Up front, it sports a closed off grille and an updated set of alloy wheels as well. It retains elements such as the slim LED headlights and LED tail lights from the regular version of the iX1. No changes have been made to the dashboard layout of the BMW iX1 LWB. The highlight is its curved integrated display, consisting of a 10.25-inch digital driver's display and a 10.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other features on board the SUV include a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, electrically adjustable front seats with massage function, dual-zone climate control, upstanding wireless phone charging, and a panoramic sunroof. In terms of safety, it has got 8 airbags, rear parking camera, park assist, and driver assist features like cruise control with brake function and front-collision warning.
