BMW officially releases images of 2012 BMW M5 sport sedan

German car maker BMW has officially released photos and a few specifications of BMW’s upcoming 2012 BMW M5 sports saloon after the images of the car leaked on the internet earlier this week. As per reports, the latest invent from BMW factory is quite easy to differentiate from its other brothers as all of them adorns subtle aggressive styling.
However, the official images suggest that the new BMW M5 is affixed with a restructured front bumper which appends muscular looks to the front while similar changes are present at the rear along with quad-exhausts. The car is fitted with big nineteen inch wheels which govern the whole appearance while showcasing the brake discs.In terms of power, new BMW M5 comes with a 4.4 litre, twin-turbocharged V8 heart compared to the existing BMW M5 which used to be driven by a V10 engine. BMW also announced that engine fitted in new BMW M5 gives a maximum power of 552 bhp and a 502 lb-ft of torque.
Furthermore, the new car is fitted with a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission added with paddle shifts that throttles the car from 0-100 kph in just 4.4 sec. The car offers a thrilling experience with top speed of 250 kmph. However, this German sports car comes added with a new Active M differential with electronically-controlled multi-plate limited slip diff which allows easy maneuvering around twisty roads and ensures good control over the car even at high speed.
Keeping some features similar to the old BMW M5, the new BMW drivers can also alter various settings so as to make the driving conditions accordingly. The features that come with the M-badge are namely M-tuned Servotronic steering, cockpit-adjustable dynamic damping and immovability control with an M Dynamic setting.With BMW already awaiting BMW 1 Series for launch in Indian car maker, BMW India is enjoying the sales figures of BMW 5 Series sedan cars which are currently gaining good popularity amongst Indian consumers.
