BMW, the German luxury carmaker will launch the updated Z4 roadster for the Indian consumers on November 14. Since the other two German luxury carmakers are aggressive with their strategies , BMW is also aiming to counter the increasing competition by introducing new products. One such recent example was the launch of facelifted 5-Series saloon, and now its the turn of Z4 roadster to get an upgrade in the Indian market.
The new Z4 roadster looks identical to the current model, but there are few minor upgrades to make it look more sporty and aggressive. The 2014 model gets a new set of LED lights, redesigned front bumper, new side indicators with chrome touches, new alloy wheels and few other features.
The updated roadster will be powered by a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder, twin-turbo engine that churns out a maximum power output of 355bhp and 450Nm of top torque. The power is transmitted to rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
The exact pricing details of the new Z4 Roadster is still behind curtains, but we expect it to be priced little higher than the current model. The vehicle is likely to be priced in the range of Rs. 70-75 lakh.
