The British luxury brand, Jaguar is all set to launch the upgradedversion of its smashing luxury sedan, Jaguar XF in India. Though the Jaguar XF facelift has been introduced globally, the recent information confirms that the new Jaguar XF will be available in the Indian car market shortly. As per the latest buzz, few of the Jaguar dealerships across the nation have started accepting bookings for the face-lifted XF, and the deliveries will apparently commence from next month. The new Jaguar XF price starts at Rs 48.37 lakhs for its base variant 3.0L V6 engine variant, 5.0L V8 petrol for Rs 59.65 lakhs and around Rs 75 lakhs (ex showroom prices) for supercharged version at the JLR’s exclusive sales outlets in the country.

The modifications made on the new car are reported to be a makeover on the exteriors and the interiors. The front bumper is redesigned to accommodate the broader grille apart from the new pair of headlights, which resemble the Jaguar XJ sedan with its tweaked sparkling lustre taking the form of a human eye. The rear is endowed with a slight variation of horizontally elongated headlamps.

As mentioned, the changes are restricted to the cosmetic front, while the engine specifications remain the same. The power 3.0 L V6 engine is capable of generating a peak power of 275 PS and a superior torque output of 600 Nm. The stunner sedan can accelerate from 0-100km in mere 6 seconds. The 5.0L V8 petrol engine has the capacity to produce a peak power of 385 PS and 515 nm top torque. The car covers the 0-100 km distance in an impressive 5.5 seconds. The 5.5 L V8 supercharged engine variant is not said to be offered, which is a slight letdown. However, the British car manufacturer has not divulged any information on the availability of the 2.2 L diesel engine variant, which is bound to be introduced sooner or later.
