Bugatti offers test drives on Veyron supercar for probable buyers

The French sports car manufacturer Bugatti had launched the Veyron sports car last year. There are definitely some high powered performance numbers from the super car which sells at Rs 16 crore in India. But, because of this outrageous price tag or otherwise, the Bugatti Veyron did not manage to sell the way the car manufacturer had supposed. Now, Bugatti has some plans for the sport car. Apparently, the company hopes the ideal thing to do at this moment is offer a test drive to those who have plans to purchase this car. What more, an executive from Bugatti, Pierre Henri Raphanel will come down to India with a specific target in mind.

He will have the test runs conducted for the Buggatti Veyron 16.4 Gransports in Mumbai to begin with. Later, however, they might as well have the car run across the country to boost the awareness of the brand and its brand value. Hopefully, this strategy will turn around the sales of the car in India. The Veyron sports car is well-known for its extraordinary performance globally. The car is quite capable of attaining the top-speed of 408 kmph with a superfast acceleration. The super car can leap from 0 to 100 kmph in blinding 2.6 seconds. It is one powerful engine that it carries under the hood. The 8.0 L 8000 cc W16 engine exudes an electrifying peak power of 1001 PS with a well matched top torque of 1250 Nm.

The Volkswagen Group subsidiary Bugatti has its one and only product Bugatti Veyron launched in India last year in a single variant. While the high-powered car might be a cup of tea for many, the high price tag is more than something an Indian consumer can bargain for. Though not yet launched in India, there is Veyron Supersports variant that might see an Indian launch in future. The spine tingling performance leaves the user dumbstruck with some more numbers on the board. The car moves at a dashing speed of 430 kmph.
