The automotive space witnessed the introduction of the long awaited Ferrari SUV and the seventh-generation Ford Mustang just this past week. There have been important updates for upcoming cars in the Indian market as well as waiting periods for Mahindra’s popular models.

Ferrari Purosangue SUV Unveiled:
The most iconic and respected motorsport insignia has unveiled its first four-door horse in SUV form. It is powered by a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 725PS, sent to all four wheels. Seventh-Gen Ford Mustang Premieres:
Ford unveiled its new seventh-generation Mustang at the North American motor show. It retains the option of a naturally-aspirated V8 with a choice of a six-speed manual. The new Mustang sports a more chiselled look and improved driving dynamics too.
Tata Tiago EV Unveil Date:
Tata Motors is all set to introduce the Tiago EV on September 28 as the most affordable electric car in India in the form of a hatchback. It is likely to get different specs from the Tigor EV sub-compact sedan.
BYD Atto 3 Teased:
With recent news of BYD expansion plans in India, the carmaker has teased its all new Atto 3 compact for India, which will be the second offering from BYD after the E6 electric MPV.
Mahindra SUVs Waiting Period Goes Down:
Mahindra SUVs Waiting Period Goes Down: The waiting period for the Mahindra Thar and XUV700 has been lowered to six months in most areas. Some regions still have a year-long wait for the XUV700 and eight months for the Thar in Pune and Thane.
Three-Row Citroen C3 Spotted Testing:
A three-row Citroen based on the C3 was spotted testing. It will likely be longer than the hatchback but get the same 1.2-litre petrol engine. The interiors are also similar to the current C3 on sale in India.
Maruti Suzuki 5-door Gymny Sighted Testing:
For the first time, the Gymny with a longer wheelbase and more doors was photographed testing in India. It is expected to make its premiere at the 2023 Auto Expo ahead of its long awaited launch.
