Check Out The Variant-Wise Powertrains And Colour Options Of The Tata Nexon Facelift

The Nexon facelift ditches the old variant nomenclature, for new Smart, Pure, Creative, and Fearless

Update (14/09/2023): The Tata Nexon facelift has finally been launched, with introductory prices starting at Rs 8.10 lakh (ex-showroom).

• The Nexon is available with the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. 

• The petrol can be opted with 5- and 6-speed manual along with 6-speed AMT and 7-speed DCT. 

• The second-from-top Creative variant gets almost all the powertrain and transmission combinations. 

• There are six colour options to choose from with the choice of dual-tone shades as well. 

• Prices expected to start from around Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom). 

The Tata Nexon facelift has been unveiled ahead of its market launch on September 14. All the details of it have been revealed, except for the prices. It sports a fresh styling inside and out while gaining many new features. It continues with the existing set of powertrains, which are as follows: 

The new Nexon can be opted in four broad variants - Smart, Pure, Creative, and Fearless. Here are the variant-wise powertrains to choose from: 

• The base Smart variant is available only with the petrol engine, and the only one to be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. 

• The second-from-base Pure variant still does not get any automatic transmission, but from this variant, you get the diesel engine and a 6-speed manual stick for both.

• The Creative variant is the most versatile variant, as it gets the petrol engine with a choice of 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT, and a 7-speed DCT. The diesel motor can be opted with manual and AMT transmissions. 

• The top-end variant ditches out the petrol-AMT option, while retaining all the other transmissions.

Tata offers the Nexon facelift with six colour options, which are as follows: 

• Fearless Purple

• Creative Ocean

• Pure Grey

• Flame Red

• Daytona Grey

• Pristine White

The variant-wise choices for the above mentioned colours are detailed below:

The three colours featuring the names of the new Nexon variants are exclusive to those variants, while the other three shades are available across the lineup. Tata is offering a dual-tone white roof for the Creative variants but a black-contrast roof for the top-spec Fearless variants.

Prices of the facelifted Nexon are expected to start from around Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom). It continues to rival the likes of Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite and the Hyundai Venue.
