GM India’s hopes are pretty high for the Chevrolet Beat diesel as it could act as game-changer for the firm. The new Chevrolet Beat diesel will be the 1st diesel version in its class and being the first one, it could surely get some benefits in A-Segment, which literally comprises a huge part of Indian car market.

The new Chevrolet Beat is to be first in every department, be it the first ever diesel engine with 3 cylinders in India, the 1st diesel within one litre and if reports are to be believed, this small car has the finest figures in bhp per litre and torque per liter in the car world till date.

According to the rumors, the new Chevrolet Beat diesel will be able to churn out a decent power of 58.5 bhp and 150 NM of torque. The car comprises of 936cc of engine, which promises to provide an awesome performance. Chevrolet Beat diesel is expected to offer a decent mileage of 23.99 km per litre . As far as cost is concerned, the new Chevrolet Beat diesel price in India is not known but it is expected that it will be priced Rs80,000 higher than the 1.2 petrol variant of Chevrolet Beat.
