Fiat and Chrysler might amalgamate soon

Fiat SpA is an Italian car manufacturer, which has made its own individual identity in the global auto market. Fiat also has majority of stake in Chrysler, which is an American Automobile manufacturer. Chrysler has been the one who saved Fiat in its hard times in the year 2009. There have been reports in the market that now Fiat and Chrysler will come together soon and have a solitary management.

Rumor has it that Fiat SpA and Chrysler Group LLC will soon amalgamate and will have a single solitary management. However, till now there hasn’t been any kind of official announcement, neither by Fiat SpA nor by Chrysler.

Earlier, reports suggested that Fiat had already merged the financial results of Chrysler with it. It finally took over the control of Auburn Hills located auto manufacturer, which later came out from the bankruptcy in the month of June 2009. Fiat SpA now owes 52% of Chrysler.With the merging, Fiat will now control Chrysler Group and will introduce 9 models, which will be sold under the Fiat brand in European market. These models will be introduced by the year of 2014.

However, Fiat Motors is also a very well-known, popular and prominent name in Indian Auto Market too. It has been pretty successful in making its own mark in the auto market of India.
