No, you haven’t read that headline wrong. While almost every car manufacturer has announced a hike in prices from 2017, Fiat India has gone the other way and cut prices of the Linea and Punto range. Here’s a quick look at the new prices, effective Jan 2, 2017 (all prices are ex-showroom Delhi):
The Linea range of sedans is now cheaper by up to Rs 7.3 per cent.

While prices of the Avventura have dropped, the new prices were put into effect when Fiat launched the Urban Cross i.e. September 2016.
