Germans respond to Jairam's statement on SUVs

Germans are fuming over the comment made by the reputed minister Mr Jairam Ramesh on the SUVs emission standards of the premium segment cars of BMW and the likes. the Germans responded on the comment by saying that German auto markers are known for its its advanced technology and engineers craftsmanship which they have been delivering in its vehicles time and again.

In a statement issued by the German Ambassador, Thomas Matussek, he responded on the remarks made by Mr. Jairam Ramesh, on the fuel technology in reference to the German Automotive makers that it was not expected to be coming from him.

On the other hand, Mr Jairam Ramesh, reverted by praising the luxury brand that, the German luxury brand is suffixed with great technology and technical experts in the production of its engines. The German car company has advanced features which helps in reducing the fuel emissions and better mileage.

Matussek said in a statement that, German auto industry takes pride in having one of the most appreciated and durable luxury units in the world. The company has an expertise in controlling the carbondioxide emissions and in producing the next generation fuel efficient engines.

The statement given by the Environmental Minister Jairam Ramesh, emphasised on words such as “Gas Guzzling” for SUVs (Sports Utility Vehilces) which should be vanished from the roads of India as these vehicles emit a lot of carbon in the environment. He also called these SUVs “Criminal” on the roads of the country.

The Environment Minister, took side of the reformed policy since the people who benefited from the subsidy were auto biggies BMW, Hondas and Benz and not the farmers.

Matussek, said that, the brand has always been able to produce vehicles which help in reducing carbon di oxide and making fuel efficient cars, recycling techniques and greener production facilities. He added that, German auto giants have been involved in designing excellent fuel saving mechanisms which may come to defining the cars of future.

The luxury brands BMW and Mercedes-Benz the leading auto giants are the German car marvels who have a noted global presence credited to its winning vehicles around the globe.
