Glimpse of Volvo Cars & Ritu Beri's icons of Luxury LFW-2012

This year’s Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012 will be all the more sizzling, but this time it won’t just be because of the designers or models, as along with them we will be seeing Volvo Cars on the ramp as well. The two “Icons of Luxury”, Ritu Beri and Volvo Cars are coming together for the Lakme Fashion Week Winter, as Volvo becomes the Official car partner for the fashion fiesta.

Volvo cars showcased Ritu Beri’s designs that were done on the Volvo philosophy of “Designed around you” at The Grand, New Delhi. The collection was inspired from the classic fashion icon, Marilyn Monroe. The entire collection however will be showcased on 3rd of August this year, during the Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012.

Commenting on the association, the eminent designer, Ritu Beri said that her “Icons of Luxury” collection incorporates the key elements of a typical Volvo car, a brand that is known for their Scandinavian style of luxury. On the other hand, Sudeep Narayan, Marketing & PR Directors, Volvo Auto also expressed his delight on their partnership with the ‘Diva of Indian fashion Ritu Beri’.

Currently Volvo in India has 4 luxury models, Volvo XC90 and Volvo XC60 in the luxury SUV segment, Volvo S80 and S60 sedans.
