Hirotec Group to set up a plant in India

India is attracting the auto biggies globally to invest in the luring auto market but now its has been noticed that the automotive firms are also eying on the emerging market. As per a popular tabloid $1.3 billion Hirotec Group will set up a car door production unit in India. But for that the company will strike a deal for a major order from one single auto mobile company.
Hirotec is an international player in the manufacturing of the auto motive doors, hemming equipments, stamping dies and exhaust systems for the industry. Brian G. McGinnity, Chief Financial Officer, Hirotec America Inc said that the auto motive firm intends to invest around Rs 20 crore to meet the requirement for the door production of its OEM clients near Coimbatore in India. It is expected to become fully functional after a year. The company offers tooling solutions to company such as Renault Nissan, Volkswagen India, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki and M&M.
He speculated that the Coimbatore unit to help with turnkey solutions for the automotive tooling to be fully functioning by the third quarter of the current year. It was also heard that the auto company has 115 engineers in its engineering centre who are specialised in hemming technology and also assembling tooling (welding fixtures) and it also plans to add 35 or more engineers by the year end.
