Honda Brio to hit Indian roads on September 27

Honda India is all set to launch its cheapest hatchback, the new Honda Brio is expected to launch on the 27th September. Due to thefestive season the sales of car in the Indian market are at its peak so in order to maintain the pace of this high sales Honda has decided to launch its least priced hatchback in India. The Japanese auto biggie Honda has not unveiled any information about the new Honda Brio price. But it is expected that Honda will tag this new refreshed version very competitively at an affordable price, keeping the fact in mind that it will be launched in petrol variant only.

The new Honda Brio specifications suggest that the new hatchback will be powered with the same 1.2 Liter i-VTEC petrol engine as adorned in Honda Jazz hatchback. Though, the engine is same but there is a minor drop in its power. The Honda Brio engine will churn out the maximum power of 88 bhp @ 6,000 rpm and 109 Nm of torque @ 4,600 as compared to Honda Jazz's 90 bhp power @6,200 rpm and 110 Nm of  torque@ 4,800 rpm.The all new Honda Brio will be more fuel efficient than Honda Jazz as it is lighter in weight approximately 100+ kg light as compared to Honda Jazz. Honda Claims that this new hatchback will provide the fuel efficiency of 18.4 Kmpl.

The new Honda Brio features a very big and spacious interiors as its quite longer as compared to other hatchbacks like Hyundai i10 and Chevrolet Beat and bigger than Volkswagen Polo, Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20 and Ford Figo. The new upgraded Honda Brio measures 3,610 mm in length , 1,680 mm in width and 1,485 mm in height. Along with this it is expected that this face lift version will adorn many advanced and unique features ,like it is expected to be designed with tough and impact resistant glasses. Along with these, many safety and security features will be included in it like airbags, ABS with EDS technology. Typically the new  version will be available in three variants Honda Brio E, Honda Brio S and Honda Brio V.
