Honda car sales increased 130units in May

Honda Siel Cars India registered a rise of 130 units in the month of May. This shows 3.3 per cent rise in car sales. In May 09, the company sold 4,073 units as against 3,943 units in the same month the previous year. Honda Siel Cars India Vice-President (Marketing) Jnaneswar Sen said that the new Honda City has been performing very well ever since its launch and this month it topped the sales chart with the sell of 3,638 units. Honda Civic and Accord contributed 223 and 212 units respectively. The market has seen an upsurge in the last few months and these are positive signs for a stable economy, added Mr Sen.
