Honda Motor Company is expected to bring back production close to normal in the next few months after it was struck with huge parts shortage due to the March 11 earthquake and tsunami in Japan. With such good news coming in, it is expected that the problem of delay in delivery would be no more in the scene and Honda would be able to set a definite schedule of its upcoming cars such as Honda Brio. As per the reports, production restoration process would take at least this month and would pick up more in July or latest by August.

According to recent reports, since the production is getting back on track, there would be 11 percent increase in the cars built in July compared to June. This would be a great for Honda as its rival Toyota Motors has already announced that it would normalize production much ahead than anticipated. Moreover, due to the production outage, production of Honda cars was affected and it had impacted the launch schedule of strikingly fuel efficient small car Honda Brio. Besides, delivery of the existing models such as Honda City, Honda Civic, Honda Jazz, Honda CR-V and New Honda Accord was also affected.
