Honda to recall 1500 Civic cars in United States

Published On May 23, 2011 12:12 PM By Ritesh

Honda is a very well-known car manufacturer in the world, but to its bad luck, it is facing a bit of trouble for the time being. According to the reports, Honda Motors told that they will have to recall around 1,500 Honda Civic cars back, which were earlier sold in United States of America this year itself. The reason for this recalling is that these Honda Civic Sedans have fuel leak jeopardy that could actually become a cause for fire, which in turn can make the car burst into flames.

So now, Honda Motors have recollected all the Honda Civic Sedans that were manufactured between April 21st 2011 and May 2nd 2011. Out of 1,500 Honda Civic, 1,156 were sedans and the rest of 377 Civic were compact cars that will be recalled.

Honda Civic is currently in huge demand in United States of America, but because of the fuel leak risk, Honda is now in a tight spot as far as meeting up this huge demand for Honda Civic sedans is concerned. Adding to the bad news, the March 11th tsunami in Japan, which literally brushed off the east coast of Japan, had affixed more problems. Toyota Motors has still not recovered from this disaster yet.

Honda Motors will be quick enough and will inform all their Honda Civic Sedan and compact car customers about the problem by the next week. These customers will have to bring back their car to a certified Honda Service Station, where the fuel leak problem will be sorted out for free.

Honda Cars in India and around the world have always kept their standards high. Even if some problem arises with the cars, the firm is ready all time to help out their customers via Honda service stations. This established company is also thinking to launch Honda City diesel version very soon.
