The Hyundai Creta N Line, the standard Creta's sportier version, is scheduled for a launch tomorrow, making it the third N Line model to arrive on our shores following the i20 N Line and Venue N Line. Its bookings are open for Rs 25,000 and customer deliveries are expected to begin soon after the prices are announced. Here’s what you need to know about the sportier iteration of the Creta:.

Exterior

The Creta N Line has a sportier design language compared to the regular SUV, and gets a redesigned bumper with red inserts. Hyundai has also given it an N Line-specific grille with the N Line badge.

The side profile sports bigger 18-inch alloy wheels that also house red brake calipers. Just like the front, the back has a tweaked bumper with red inserts and a bigger spoiler. The twin exhaust setup further adds to the sportier character, and the new skid plate makes the SUV look more aggressive.

Interior

On the inside, the sportier N Line model features a few changes, but otherwise, the dashboard design and layout are the same as the standard Creta. To start, the cabin has a lot of red accents throughout its blacked out interior. In addition, the ambient lighting on this model glows red rather than amber like it does in the standard Creta.

A lot of N Line specific elements, such as a revised gear knob, sportier-looking seats and N Line steering wheel, are also included to keep up with the character and add to the sportier appearance of the cabin.

Features

The Creta N Line shares many features with the regular model, including dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, and dual 10.25-inch screens (digital driver's display and touchscreen).

On the safety front, six airbags, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and most importantly advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are a part of the package.

Engine

The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with an output of 160 PS/253 Nm powers the Hyundai Creta N Line. It will be mated to a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT). In order to offer better handling, Hyundai will provide the Creta N Line with a different suspension setup and steering rack. A throatier exhaust tone is anticipated to provide a more engaging driving experience.

Variants Rivals

The Hyundai Creta N Line is expected to have a starting price of Rs 18.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be offered in two broad variants: N8 and N10. It will be a sportier alternative to SUVs like the Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. The Hyundai Creta N Line will compete directly with the Kia Seltos GTX+ and VW Taigun GT.
