Commenting on the March domestic sales, Mr Arvind Saxena, Director - Marketing and Sales, HMIL said, “We could meet our expectations in March as there was considerable interest to beat the expected price hike in the Union Budget. The market continues to pose many challenges; things can improve if interest rates come down this quarter.”

The segment-wise cumulative sales for March 2012 are: A2 segment 51,336 units (Eon, Santro, i10, i20); A3 Segment 7,679 units (Accent and Verna); A5 segment 92 Units (Sonata); Santa Fe (SUV) 122 units.
