Maruti Suzuki Swift: The Swift, one of the most popular mid-size hatchbacks today, has a waiting period between 10 to 60 days. It is readily available only in 7 out of the 20 cities on our list.
Hyundai Grand i10: Hyundai offers two versions of the Grand i10 in the mid-size hatchback category. Buyers in New Delhi, Bangalore, Surat and Noida can get it home immediately after completing the formalities while those in Pune, Chennai, Jaipur and Chandigarh might have to endure a waiting period between one week and 20 days.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: The Grand i10 Nios is the latest entrant of the segment. It is almost readily available except in Pune, Chennai and Jaipur, where it can make you wait for as long as one month.
Ford Freestyle: One of the two Fords on the list, the Freestyle commands a waiting period in 11 out of the 20 cities. Buyers in cities like Bangalore, Pune, Ghaziabad and Chandigarh may have to wait up to four months to get their hands on the car. For those willing to buy the Titanium variant in Noida, the waiting period can range from 15 to 20 days.
Ford Figo: Buyers in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata can take the Figo home immediately after all the formalities are completed. Its waiting period can stretch up to four months in cities like Jaipur, Lucknow and Ghaziabad while those in Noida willing to buy the Figo in white or silver may have to wait for one month.
