Japan Witnessed the Launch of Toyota Corolla Axios and Fielder Facelifts

The Japanese auto titan, Toyota Motor Corporation has today made an announcement in Japan regarding the launch of the redesigned version of the favorite sedan Corolla Axio and station wagon Corolla Fielder. The president of the company Mr. Akio Toyoda also displayed the latest version of Toyota Corolla which is its best-selling sedan at company's subsidiary in northern Japan. The Toyota Corolla facelifts will be made available all across the country through Toyota Corolla dealers.

The company is planning on achieving the monthly sales figure of 3000 and 4000 units respectively for Corolla Axios and Corolla Fielder, in Japan. The first Toyota Corolla was rolled out in the year 1966 and was specifically designed to cater to basic requirements like practicality, ease of use, peace of mind and values that adapt to the times. Toyota Corolla has emerged as the bestselling car with global sales of more than 39 million units.

The base variant of the Toyota Corolla Axio flaunts a 1.3 liter engine and is priced at 1,375,000 yen or $22,000. The top end 1.5 liter engine variant bears a price tag of Rs. 2,089,000 yen. At the same time, the base variant of Corolla Fielder Station Wagon is priced at 1,517,000 yen and derives power from the 1.5-liter engine. The top end variant on the other hand, flaunts 1.8-liter engine and is tagged at a price of 2,120,000 yen.
