KUV100: Variants Information Leaked!

Mahindra’s to-be-launched KUV100 is the talk of the town right after the announcement of its name a few days back. To further elevate the excitement among automobile enthusiasts, we now have the access to the specifications and details (variant-wise) of KUV100. The micro-SUV will come in four variants namely K2, K4, K6 and K8. The car is expected to be launched on January 15, 2016. Mahindra recently released a teaser in which the rear profile of the car is visible. ABS is a standard feature for KUV100 and airbags come as an optional feature for all the variants. Variant-wise details are as follows:
K2 (Base)

KUV100 features a new series of mFALCON engine from Mahindra. There will be a total of six engines in the series, and the KUV is powered by 1.2 litre engine and a 1.2 diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 82 bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque while the diesel engine is capable of generating 77bhp of power and 190 Nm of max torque. The bookings are already in full swing which can be done on a payment of Rs. 10,000. The price of the car is yet to be revealed and is expected to be within the Rs. 4-7 lacs bracket.
