Luxury car Ghost to be showcased in India by the year-end

BMW Group's subsidiary Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will showcase its flagship global model Ghost in India by the year-end. Rolls-Royce Ghost is a smaller car priced around Rs 1.2-1.3 crore internationally. The car will be priced more in India due to taxes and import duties. The Regional Director, Asia Pacific, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Colin Kelly has disclosed that Ghost will be formally exhibited at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Announced at the Auto Shanghai show in April 2009, the ultra-luxury salon automobile designed model by Ian Cameron and engineered by Helmut Reidl who is also noted for developing the fifth-generation Rolls-Royce Phantom. Recently Tata Motors launched its Jaguar and Land Rover in India that is expected to stiff the competition in luxury car segment already.
