Mahindra launches Limited Edition 'XUV500 Sportz' at Rs 13 lakh 68 thousand

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) has launched the limited edition ‘XUV500 Sportz’ in its W8 model with a price tag of Rs 13.68 Lakh (Ex-showroom,Mumbai). The limited edition gets many stylish upgrades on exterior profile such as Sportz body decals, alloy wheels, etc. While in the interior it gets refurbished leather upholstery and 6” touch screen Infotainment System with GPS. However, the company will manufacture only 1000 such units.
The home-grown automaker in order to refresh its current model line-up has launched this limited edition in top of the line W8 model. India's largest SUV manufacturer is trying hard to woo new prospective buyer and with the launch of limited edition XUV500 Sportz, it seems like the automaker is half-way through in its desire.

Mechanically, this rugged SUV remains same as it will keep on housing its powerful 2.2-litre, mHawk engine that churns out a maximum power output of 140bhp and peak torque of 330Nm. The engine is coupled to 6-speed manual transmission. The safety of SUV remains impeccable as the SUV comes loaded with 6 Airbags (front, side and curtain), ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Hill Hold Control & Hill Descent Control and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Rollover Mitigation.
