Mahindra & Mahindra marks 42% sales jump in Dec 2010

The India based Automobile manufacturing company, Mahindra & Mahindra has flaunted a growth of 41. 92% in sales amounting to 34,062 units for the month of December 2010 as against the same period last year. According to the company, the company had sold 24,001 units in the corresponding month of 2009 where it was able to mark a sales of 24,001 units. This shows the tremendous progress made by the company in the year 2010 which will be remembered as the year of boom for automobile industry.

As per the reports, the sales of  Mahindra & Mahindra utility vehicles which encircles Mahindra Bolero, Mahindra Xylo, Mahindra Scorpio and Pick Ups reached 14,705 units which is an apt figure to flaunt as against 11904 units last year. These figures show a hike of 23.53% whereas the popular model from company, Mahindra Logan exhibited three times sales (896 units) as against 308 units last year. 

The three wheeler segment including Mahindra Gio and Mahindra Maxximo mini trucks also showed a double sales this year of 5928 units as against 2909 units last year. This shows that the Indian based manufacturing company is able to mark good sales in automobile segment at the time of boom. Hence company has enjoyed a good share of pie last year. Mahindra & Mahindra  marked its exports during the month at 21.57 %  as against 1,247 units during December 2009. the company was recently launched its all exciting gypsy Mahindra Thar which was a big launch from its stable. The gypsy wore that traditional look which is going since ages and always remains in vogue.
