Mahindra Reva e2o Coming With Power Steering Listed on Website

Mahindra Reva has elusively launched the power steering equipped version of the e2o – T20 and T2. Since its launch last year, power steering was not an option even on the top-ends. Now, the e2o gets an electric power steering in the last two variants, namely T2 and T20. Though the vehicle has been listed on the official page of the company in India, the official announcement is still awaited.
The features on board top-end power steering assisted variants – T2 and T20
- Both the variants offers touchscreen infotainment system offering Bluetooth, CD/DVD/MP3 and iPod connectivity. The decibels, on the other hand, are powered by a high-end JBL music system with four speakers and two tweeters.
- The zero emission vehicle comes with fully digital instrumentation cluster and sports full time smartphone App support, which controls various functions of the vehicle.
- To ease the driving, the vehicle gets electric ORVMs and reverse parking camera with assistance.
- Both the vehicles ride on 155/70 R-13 low rolling resistance radials.
- The T2 (premium) gets a complete charge in 5 hours, where an hour of charging gives it a range of 20km.
- The T20 (premium + quick charge) features a quick charger that completely charges the vehicle within 60 minutes with 3 phase AC supply up-to 12kW.
- Both the variants offer 81km/h of top speed and a range of 120km in one full charge.
Mechanically, these two variant gets 25.47bhp (19kW) electric motor that churns out 53.9Nm of torque from zero rpm! The motor is driven by an automatic transmission
