Mahindra has revealed the Codenamed S101 hatch and it is called KUV 100!
Mahindra's latest entry in the Indian market has now been officially announced and is called KUV100. It is powered by an all-new family of engines called mFALCON. The petrol engine is mFALCON (BS-IV) G80 which produces 82 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and a max torque of 114 Nm. The diesel is called mFALCON D75 which produces 77 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 190 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. The development partners include Magnetti Marelli, which could mean the presence of an automatic transmission. KUV100 is based on an all-new platform and has 4 variants which have optional airbags and ABS as a standard feature.

The KUV1OO will feature seven colours options namely; dazzling silver, aquamarine, pearl white, designer grey, fiery orange, flamboyant red and midnight black. Bookings for the car will be open from tomorrow i.e. December 19, 2015.
The car is expected to be priced at around Rs. 4-7 lac and will be launched next month. It will possibly create a new segment called micro SUV segment (a segment below the Sub-4m SUV space) and is likely to be followed by Maruti Suzuki Ignis soon.
