Finally! Mahindra has revealed the styling, features and powertrain of the XUV700. The XUV700 will be available in two trims - MX and AX - the latter being the more premium and powerful one. It will further come in five and seven-seater configurations.

The XUV700 looks larger and more premium than the XUV500. It is the first car that features Mahindra’s new ‘Twin Peaks’ logo. Other visual elements up front include a chrome slat grille, C-shaped LED DRLs, and LED headlamps. The exterior profile will also carry high-beam assist, sequential turn-indicators, flush-fitting door handles, up to 18-inch dual tone machined alloy wheels and cornering lamps.

The SUV gets a sloping roofline, broad shoulders, and quintessential kink around the C-pillar like the outgoing XUV500. There’s also an integrated roof spoiler, a shark fin antenna, large wrap-around LED tail lamps, dual exhaust muffler, and a chunky rear skid faux plate.

The cabin gets a dual-tone black and creme theme with heavy chrome inserts across the dashboard and leatherette seats. The interior looks upscale and tech-savvy, but thankfully, very neatly laid out.

The XUV700 features up to seven airbags, Mahindra’s new AdrenoX operating system, Amazon Alexa-powered 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car technology, a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, 6-way powered driver seat with memory function, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and air filter. The base-spec MX variant will miss out on these above-mentioned features and instead get a 7-inch instrument cluster, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment, Android Auto, LED tail lamp, and steering mounted switches.

The XUV700 will offer optional packs with wireless charging, 12-speaker Sony sound system, flush fitting handles, a 360-degree camera, blind-view monitoring, and electric parking brake.

The XUV700’s highlighted segment-first safety feature is the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist System) with radar and sensor-based features such as autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, smart pilot assist, ane-keep assist, blind-spot detection, adaptive cruise control, and driver drowsiness detection system.
