The Mahindra XUV300 facelift has been in development for some time now and it is expected to be launched soon. Officially, the automaker has temporarily halted bookings for the existing Mahindra XUV300 and is already winding down its production. Recently, new sets of spy shots of the XUV300 facelift have surfaced on the internet, providing us with a clear look at its interior.
Bigger Touchscreen Spied
As seen in the image above, the facelifted XUV300 features a larger touchscreen, which appears to be the same as the 10.25-inch unit seen on the recently updated Mahindra XUV400 EV. Apart from the infotainment system, the design of the centre AC vents also resembles that of its electric counterpart.

Spied In Different Variants
The latest set of spy shots had three test mules of the Mahindra XUV300 facelift, each seemed like a different variant. The unit with the alloy wheels is likely the top variant with the same design as its existing version, while two other lower variants were seen boasting steel wheels with caps.
Other Expected Changes
On the inside, the XUV300 will likely also come with a new climate control panel with rear AC vents. The new dashboard theme and seat upholstery options are also expected. In terms of features, it could also get a 10.25-inch digital driver's display (from XUV400 EV), ventilated front seats, dual-zone AC, cruise control, wireless phone charging, and push-button start/stop.
The passenger safety will be taken care of by six airbags (as standard), and electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
Powertrain Options
Mahindra will likely retain the same petrol and diesel engine options as offered with the existing version of the XUV300. These include a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine (110 PS / 200 Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (117 PS / 300 Nm). Both can be had with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed AMT.
It also comes with a 1.2-litre T-GDi (direct injection) engine (130 PS / up to 250 Nm) which is only offered with the 6-speed manual transmission. Though the engine options will remain the same, the AMT transmission could be replaced with a torque converter.
Expected Launch & Rivals
The Mahindra XUV300 facelift is expected to be launched soon from Rs 8.5 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. It will continue to take on the likes of the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Hyundai Venue. The facelifted XUV300 will also take on the upcoming Skoda subcompact SUV which is due to arrive in early 2025.
