RC Bhargava, Maruti India’s Chairman aggravated the company’s firm stance on this issue by saying that Maruti was clear that the people (workers) will have to sign the good conduct bond. Only then would they be allowed into the company. The company would not take a hasty decision because of a daily loss of production at the Manesar plant. While most of the workers are innocent and hardworking, there are some who are highly indisciplined. He earlier said that outside elements influence most of them.
According to reports, on an average, the firm produces about 1,200 units of a mix of Maruti Swift,  Maruti Swift Dzire, A-Star, Maruti SX4 and models every day from the Manesar plant.
