Maruti starting exports from Mundra Port

It has come to the notice that India's Largest Car manufacturer and the second largest car expoter, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is now rediciding to export its cars to Europe from the Mundra port situated in Gujarat. It is after a time period of four years that Maruti Suzuki is starting its exports of small cars. It is believed that the first consignment will be for their car model Maruti A-Star. This very new upcoming model in India will be launched to UK and Italy. Expected number of models to be sold are nearly 1534.
With this initiative India is going to make a move in the global market as a exporter for small car segment. Moreover this step European countries will again become a favourite hub of Maruti Suzuki. The expected date of reaching the car to Europe will be in the month of February. Moreover the new car will come in the European market by the name Suzuki Alto. According to the managing director of the company Mr. Shinzo Nakanishi Maruti Suzuki is expecting to take in partnership the Mundra port and the Special Economic Zone Limited and NYK Line. According to him Maruti Suzuki has very standard plans for exports. Maruti Suzuki launched the model Maruti a-Star in India, in the month of November, that too previous year.
This new model is such designed that it will meet the demands of technology and classic style all there by meeting the taste of Europeans. Further Maruti Suzuki is also planning to increase the export many times than before so that they can make their presence in the European market.
