Mercedes SLS AMG Launch Postponed

The launch of Mercedes SLS AMG has been postponed. Earlier it was decided that the launch will take place today, i.e on the 15th of July but now it has been put off till tomorrow (16th July). The postponement has taken place due to the flooding situation in Delhi and the areas close by.
The Mercedes Benz SLS AMG model was showcased during the auto expo at Delhi. This model had attracted a lot of car lovers and enthusiasts. During the presentation of this car, Mr Dr. Aulbur (MD and CEO of Mercedez-Benz), had announced that SLS AMG impresses with its purist design, intelligent lightweight construction and superior handling dynamics. He had also stated that the model will surely bring a sensation in the super sports car segment.
Mercedes SLS AMG was earlier world premiered at the Frankfurt International Motor Show which was held in September 2009. This car has got a 6.3-litre V8 front-mid-engine. The engine generates a maximum power of 420 kW (571 hp) and a peak torque of 650 Nm. The car accelerates to 100 km/h from a stand still position in mere 3.8 seconds.
