Mercedes-Benz has teased an image and video of its upcoming performance enriched car, 2015 Mercedes AMG-GT and we sure have not missed the Benz word, its just the way the company calls it. The interiors were revealed earlier just like the automaker did with S-Class and C-Class, and now as the car manufacturer has officially teased this performance vehicle it seems like the company is prepping up for an early arrival. Moreover, the world premier of Mercedes AMG-GT is scheduled in autumn of 2014.
It seems like the season of teasing and unveiling; recently the Japanese auto-giant Nissan, first teased their five door hatch Pulsar and later unveiled it on 20th May 2014 and now the German manufacturer is on the same track of teasing to create a buzz in the auto industry with its high profile sports car. Mercedes AMG-GT will lock horns with the Jaguar F-Type and Porsche 911. As seen in video, the car covered in camouflaged is thriving its way to Nürburgring track. According to the manufacturer, its the most beautiful car ever designed. The exterior profile is blessed with an elongated hood giving a similar look-alike to ongoing SLS AMG.
According to Tobias Moers, CEO of Mercedes-AMG GmbH, “The new Mercedes-AMG GT shows that we will be positioning AMG more vehemently and aggressively than to date as a dynamic sports car brand". He further added, “The technological substance of the Mercedes-AMG GT underscores our high aspirations with regard to driving dynamics, agility and sportiness. Following the global success of the SLS AMG, the new GT is the second sports car developed fully independently by Mercedes-AMG. An initial exclusive look at the design of the interior shows what is in store for our customers: a GT sports car in its purest form."
Inside the cabin, the car gets ergonomically placed controls that seems to be borrowed directly from a racing track car. The dominant centre console adds more to its dynamic nature. Mercedes AMG- GT also gets carefully and smartly designed AMG DRIVE UNIT, which are arranged in similar fashion as seen in eight cylinders of a V layout. The cabin material used are of top-notch with best craftsmanship of AMG.
The engine specifications are still under the covers, but we expect that the car gets either a 4.0-litre or 4.4-litre V8 bi-turbo engine mustering a behemoth power of 600bhp. Also, Mercedes-Benz has confirmed it will be the best in this segment, so its just a waiting game before the world sees what's the Stuttgart based car-maker have in stores for us.
