Powertrains Check
Both SUVs are being offered with two engine options: a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol (143PS/250Nm) paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT, and a 2-litre diesel engine (170PS/350Nm) mated to a 6-speed manual transmission only.
Rivals
The MG Hector takes on the Tata Harrier, 5-seater variants of the Mahindra XUV700, and Jeep Compass, while the Hector Plus rivals the Tata Safari, 7-seater variants of the Mahindra XUV700, and Hyundai Alcazar.
