MG Motor India recently revealed that it recorded cumulative sales of 4,225 units in July 2021, of which the ZS EV had 404 buyers, the model's highest sales since its launch in January 2020.
Earlier this year, the carmaker launched an updated version of the electric vehicle which got improved battery and ground clearance. Here’s a look at its specifications:

The ZS EV can be charged up to 80 percent in 50 minutes with a DC fast charger whereas a wall box AC fast charger takes roughly 6-8 hours to completely top up the battery. A three-way plug needs approximately 18 to 19 hours to do the same work.
MG has equipped the ZS EV with an 8-inch touchscreen system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, powered driver’s seat, cruise control, and rain-sensing wipers. Safety features include six airbags, hill start assist, hill descent control, and rear parking sensors.
The ZS EV is priced from Rs 20.99 lakh onwards (ex-showroom) and rivals the Hyundai Kona Electric. It is also viable as a premium alternative to the Tata Nexon EV. Other EVs in India include the Mercedes-Benz EQC, Jaguar I-Pace, and Audi e-tron.
