M&M to upgrade Scorpio

Mahindra & Mahindra is going to upgrade its popular sports utility vehicle (SUV) Scorpio as a thoroughbred SUV. Customers tend to treat the Scorpio as an multi-utility vehicle (MUV). M & M President (Automotive) Pawan Goenka told reporters that customers tend to treat the Scorpio as an MUV, which the company is now trying to change by providing the vehicle the required looks, features and performance.

He added that they had been constantly upgrading the Scorpio and recently they had launched the latest version with a more muscular look and also made it ideal for off-road drives. The company will be giving more muscle to the Scorpio, which has so far crossed a total sale of two lakh units, to position it as a vehicle that can handle full off-road driving following the launch of its latest MUV Xylo
