1.     What was the objective behind the Nissan New Star of India campaign?
A.    The objective was to converge two different aspects of our business – Innovation and Excitement through a locally relevant, meaningful campaign.  We wanted to take our costumer engagement to a different level  – both for our current as well as prospective customers. Also, the thinking was how can we integrate the social media reach with our brands.

2.     How has the campaign helped in terms of penetrating into the masses?
A.    We have more than 4.5 lakh fans on our FB page and we expect the no. to go even higher before the film is released. We also have thousands of people discussing on the campaign everyday on the social media platform. The sheer involvement of our current customers in this campaign is a pleasant surprise and we are extremely happy with the overall response. The New Star of India campaign has made us the largest automotive maker in India on the social media platform.

3.     When will the film be released?
A.    We are looking at releasing the film in March through an innovative way.

4.     Is this the first of its kind film ever on the Facebook platform?
A.    Yes, indeed. This is the first ever Bollywood movie auditioned movie on Facebook and the shortest feature film involving a Bollywood superstar. This is a film, which has action, romance, dance and, of course, MICRA.

Q&A for Mr. Rahul Kanthraj - Team Captain and Head of the Precision drivers:

1.     What was the brief for this movie?
A.    The brief was to integrate the Micra as innovatively as possible with the movie and create excitement for the audience.

2.     How many Micras were used in the movie?
A.    We have used 100 Micra cars in film shoot.

3.     How did you manage orchestrating stunts in such a short movie with all those Micras?
A.    It was a new challenge for us to create stunt scenes with 100 cars. Our team worked hard to ensure that things were in place. We started conceptualizing much before the shoot schedule and created scenes which will be seen for the first time on any platform. Fortunately, the team from Nissan was very cooperative and ensured that we got all the resources required to execute the stunts.
