New BMW 7 Series Launches in Malaysia, India Launch Soon

German car major, BMW has yesterday launched the all new BMW 7 Series in Malaysia in a total three variants- 730Li, 740Li and ActiveHybrid 7L. The new BMW 7 Series sedan combines stylish design, luxury, and comfort with top class efficiency and driving dynamics that is the hallmark of a BMW vehicle. BMW India too is planning to launch the vehicle in the country, which should happen soon. And like the company disclosed earlier, the 7-series will be brought in Completely Knocked Down (CKD) form and then assembled at BMW's Chennai plant from 2013 end.

He highlights of the new BMW 7 Series are its upgraded interior with optimised soundproofing, improved ride comfort, new Adaptive LED headlights, and state-of-the-art safety technology to create an in-car experience like no other. Combined with the world’s most powerful six-cylinder in-line petrol engine, the new BMW 7 Series will set new performance and efficiency benchmarks in the premium segment.
The launch of the new BMW 7 Series also expands on the company’s Advanced Hybrid vehicle offerings with the introduction of the BMW ActiveHybrid 7L. The car combines the latest hybrid technology with intelligent energy management systems, enabling significant all-electric operations and reducing fuel consumption by up to 27%. Dr Pils added, “As we celebrate our 10th year anniversary in Malaysia, the introduction of the new BMW 7 Series is a testament to our belief that sustainability is the future of the automotive industry.
