Jaguar that unveiled its first ever sports crossover concept- C-X17- in Frankfurt, has now showcased the five-seat version of the concept at the 2013 Guangzhon Auto Show in China.
The updated model features a bespoke ultra-luxury interior incorporating a range of new high-quality design elements in combination with advanced infotainment technology and innovative safety features such as Rear Exit Detection. The C-X17 concept rides on the company's all new advanced all monocoque architecture (iQ[Al] platform). This platform makes extensive use of aluminum, and will underpin the company's future product.
The global rollout of the production version of the SUV will begin in 2015, and it will be the first aluminium monocoque product in the segment. It is expected to receive a range of 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, which claimed to be more fuel efficient without effecting the driving dynamics.
