New Maruti Swift launched in Mumbai

The most awaited car of this year has been finally launched. After being launched in Delhi tomorrow the new Maruti Swift was also launched yesterday in Mumbai and it sure was a site to see. It is being said that Maruti India witnessed about 50,000 pre booking orders for the new Swift by 17th August morning. The major surprise was that about 80% of these bookings were for diesel car and rest 20% was bagged by petrol version of Maruti Swift.

The new swift specifications are absolutely worth the hype. Some of the major specs of the new Maruti Swift include two engine variants; one will be 1.2 litre of petrol and 1.3 litre of diesel engine. The fuel tank is now made up of plastic, which was earlier made up of metal. The petrol 1.2 litre of 1197cc engine comes with 5 speed manual gearbox and delivers a great performnace when it comes to acceleration, torque and power. On the other hand, the 1.3 litre of 1248cc diesel engine of new Swift has better fuel efficiency and better combustion.
