The new-generation Hyundai Venue N Line was spotted testing for the first time in South Korea. With the testing for the new-generation Venue already underway, one can expect the sportier model to launch right alongside the standard offering. In this report, we have a detailed look at the spyshots and describe the changes that the new Venue N Line is expected to get over the current model.
Front
The boxy silhouette of the Hyundai Venue N Line is identical to the current model. However, the fascia comes with a massive grille that takes up most of the space and a new design for the LED headlights and DRLs that double up as indicators. It is also expected to get a tweaked front bumper that should have a more aggressive design than the standard Venue.
Side
The changes to the sheet metal in the side profile can’t be seen much due to the camouflage. However, keen-eyed viewers can notice the presence of an N Line badge on the front fenders.
The test mule of the new Hyundai Venue N Line was riding with a new 5-spoke design for the alloy wheels with the N badge in the centre hubcap. One can notice a red design element where the wheel arches end along with red brake callipers behind the alloy wheels, which is a design touch of all Hyundai N Line cars.
Rear
The rear of the Venue N Line is expected to get a new connected taillight design. The dual exhaust pipes are carried over from the current Venue N Line. The roof rails come with red accents that were earlier present on the sides.

Expected Features And Safety
While no pictures of the interior have surfaced online, we expect the Venue N Line to come with a more feature-loaded cabin to make the model a more lucrative choice among its rivals. It could come with a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen display, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats and a fully digital driver’s display. Other features such as a wireless phone charger, and auto AC with rear vents are expected to be carried forward.
In terms of safety, the new Venue N Line is expected to come with 6 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, a dual dash camera, and probably an updated level 2 ADAS system with tech such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and lane departure warning.
Expected Powertrain
Details of the powertrain have not yet been revealed, but it is expected to retain the current 1-litre turbo petrol engine, specifications of which are as follows:
Engine |
1-litre turbo petrol |
Power |
120 PS |
Torque |
172 Nm |
Transmission |
6-speed manual/7-speed DCT |
Being an N Line model, one can expect tweaks underneath the skin over the standard model for a more involving drive experience. This includes stiffer suspension, a quicker steering rack, and a throatier exhaust note.
Price And Rivals
The new Hyundai Venue N Line is expected to be available at a premium over the current model’s price, which ranges from Rs 12.15 lakh to Rs 13.96 lakh (ex-showroom). The Hyundai Venue N Line can be considered a sportier alternative to the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Renault Kiger.
