Nissan to draw B-school students for brand promotion

Nissan Motors, Japan based leading car maker, is looking forward to promote its brand among top B-schools of India. In this programme the firm is inviting B-School students to show their business acumen, skills and creative thinking ability which is a part of an innovative strategy of the company.

The programme includes B-school students from major cities of the country including Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai. According to the company students are always full of unconventional ideas and unrestricted in their thoughts. We believe that the programme is an ideal platform for these students to put their skills to test in the corporate world and play an integral role in building the Nissan brand.

As the company is going to launch its small car Nissan Micra in India the company is trying to promote its portfolio car models aggressively by using different methods. Nissan Micra model will be competing with some of the most popular cars in India including Maruti Swift, Maruti Ritz, Ford Figo, Volkswagen Polo and Chevrolet Beat.

Nissan is also going to start its commercial facility for the production of its Micra model from May and will start selling the car in July. The company is also planning to add nine models in its Indian portfolio by year 2012, with this the company is aiming to sell one lakh units in the country by year 2013.
